Emma is extremely knowledgable and was able to explain the issues with my long-standing knee complaint. She was able to reassure me about the treatment recommended, how the knee was likely to react and how to manage the condition for the future which gave me confidence back in the knee. In addition to this she was able to demonstrate a variety of strengthening techniques in detail so the exercises had the maximum impact. I had full faith in her expertise and treatment and can already feel the knee growing stronger. .

Emma helped me through two partial knee replacements, her expert knowledge and care has given me a new lease of life pain free! She is patient and kind and explains everything clearly. I was recommended Emma by my consultant following a big toe operation who stated I needed “aggressive physio” to get movement back in the toe joint. Emma has translated the ask to a very manageable schedule, she is incredibly knowledgeable and has adapted the program along the way as symptoms changed. She is extremely good at explaining the mechanics of how your body is responding to treatment and implications of not following the prescribed path and being impatient. The outcome has been a speedy recovery and whilst not fully fit yet the groundwork is well laid and path to getting the desired outcome is clear. I would certainly recommend Emma to anyone in need of an empathetic, knowledgeable and extremely talented Physio for sports recovery.
