We were able to get a Saturday morning appointment which is really great because it means not having to miss any school or work.

I phoned before Christmas in an attempt to arrange an appointment with Doctor [name removed]. I was told none were available at that time and to telephone on 6 January in the hope of obtaining one for 10 January. I duly telephoned only to be told that nothing could be arranged and to phone again on 8 January. This I did and got an appointment the same day at 4.00pm.

I was in the waiting room for a considerable amount of time before a fellow patient with an appointment before mine with Doctor [name removed] informed me that appointments with Doctor [name removed] were running late because he had been out on a call. These things happen but it would have been helpful had reception told me that my appointment was going to be an hour later.

We take pride in offering the highest standard of patient centred healthcare for the community of Kendal and the surrounding areas. Operating across 2 sites, we are the largest General Practice in the South Lakes area and offer a range of services at both. We offer some evening and weekend appointments.
We understand the importance of listening to our patients, and reflecting on feedback so that we can make improvements if necessary. Its also great to hear when we're making a positive difference!
